VO BONANZA – The autumn season has started with a rousing roar for The Vurb Talent Agency, in conjunction with our good friends at BrownPartners and Audio Post Philadelphia. We’ve cast two series of radio PSAs for them in the past few weeks. First, a fun back-to-school campaign for The School District of Philadelphia, featuring talented teens Kaesid Stuckey and Nasya Gay, Philly’s new School Superintendent and Mayor Michael Nutter! These spots were too cute not to share with those of you who live outside of the Philadelphia listening area, so please click the links below to hear them.

We also cast a series of radio PSAs for the PA Department of State, advising residents to use the VotesPA.com website to handle all of your voter registration and information needs before Election Day, November 4. Both campaigns sound great, and we look forward to even more meaningful work, providing key messages to listening audiences, in the very near future.

TRAINING MORE VOICE TALENT – Special thanks go out to all of the students who participated in CCP Ink’s first-ever GIVE GOOD VOICE summer voice-over training workshop. Our crew of 7 was put through their paces in character development, elocution and narrative skills over 6 Monday evenings to better prepare them for paid work in radio and TV, and we look forward to welcoming several of these students to the Vurb roster this fall as their professional demos are completed.

Many of you were unable to participate in the summer program, so we’re actively looking into the possibility of conducting another VO workshop soon…both a weekend intensive program and another 6-week course cycle. Details will be posted to this site as soon as they are confirmed.
